| ***For all three types of Openings the homeowner is responsible
for ensuring that electricity and water are available in the pool area. Pool items (baskets, chlorinator,
jet nozzles, etc.) should be left out. Vacuuming is not included with any Opening. A subsequent Spring
Clean-Up Maintenance can be scheduled to vacuum the pool, if desired. |
Don't fight with a dirty pool this spring. Let us do the hard first time spring clean-up
for you! UPM can come and vacuum your dirty pool straight to waste with our own equipment, saving you
the hassle of doing it yourself and avoiding the problems that can occur by vacuuming it through your own
system. We'll get your pool operation off to a good start for the season with a thorough cleaning and
addition of chemicals to achieve proper pool chemistry.
If your pool water is especially dirty and your system
is having trouble keeping up, UPM offers the rental of a "jump system" to
help your pool turn the corner. Rent our system, which temporarily sits on
the side of your pool, so your water will clear faster.
Are you planning on buying a new house that has a pool? Prospective buyers usually have the house inspected before buying it, but rarely think to have the pool inspected as well. UPM offers a pool inspection service where a Certified Pool Operator will come and conduct a thorough inspection of the pool for a prospective buyer. We offer three levels of inspection to best suit your needs:
- Level I - A visual inspection with a written report on all areas affecting pool operation and safety.
- Level II - A visual inspection and a pressure test of all underground piping with a written report.
- Level III - A visual inspection, pressure test, and dive of the pool with a written report.
This way a prospective home buyer can know the state of the pool as well as the house. We work independently of the current home owner and realtor to give a complete and unbiased account of the pool's condition. A detailed written report is made for every inspection.

in a variety of sizes. Lengthen the pool season and make your pool water a little more comfortable throughout the
summer to maximize your investment!
At UPM our specialty is leak detection. We have the ability to diagnose and repair all types of
water leaks in your pool. Whether you know the source of your water loss or not, we can solve the problem. We are
able to test both the shell of your pool (vinyl liner, gunite, fiberglass, etc.) and the underground plumbing to
pinpoint your leak and make the proper repairs to resolve the problem. We use state of the art equipment and
techniques to keep your pool water where it belongs!

- Underwater Dives - When dealing with leaks in the shell of your
pool UPM uses a diver with special equipment to seek out and repair holes or cracks on your pool's surfaces. We
have the ability to find holes as small as the head of a pin. Repairs are made immediately, as the leaks are
found.
- Pressure Testing - When a leak is suspected in the underground
pipes running to your pool, a different set of techniques is used. UPM uses compressed air and specialized pressure
testing equipment which allows us to check all underground pipes for leaks. If a pipe is discovered to be leaking,
we have the ability to pinpoint the leak through the use of a ultra-sonic listening device. Once the leak is found
we can repair the pipe regardless of what surface is on top of it, even a concrete deck.
