LATE SEASON CLEAN-UPS
The best way to open a clean pool in the spring is to close your pool clean in the fall.
Unfortunately many people can't keep up with the pool as the leaves begin to fall. This year, let UPM
come and clean your pool before you close, that way you'll open a clean pool next spring!
LOOP-LOC COVER INSTALLATIONS
Are you tired of looking at a dirty swamp on your solid cover all winter long? UPM can
help rid you of that annual mess and make your pool area safer. We can install a custom-fit
Loop-Loc® Safety Cover on your pool. These quality, high-tension,
mesh safety covers are designed to allow water to pass through to the pool, while keeping leaves (as well
as children and pets) out during the winter. Loop-Locs are so strong that our service technician walks
across each one he installs. We can measure your pool and give you a free estimate of what it would
cost for a custom fit cover for you. This winter avoid the drowning risk a solid cover poses while
avoiding the same old mess next spring!
Are you planning on buying a new house that has a pool? Prospective buyers usually have the house inspected before buying it, but rarely think to have the pool inspected as well. UPM offers a pool inspection service where a Certified Pool Operator will come and conduct a thorough inspection of the pool for a prospective buyer. We offer three levels of inspection to best suit your needs:
- Level I - A visual inspection with a written report on all areas affecting pool operation and safety.
- Level II - A visual inspection and a pressure test of all underground piping with a written report.
- Level III - A visual inspection, pressure test, and dive of the pool with a written report.
This way a prospective home buyer can know the state of the pool as well as the house. We work independently of the current home owner and realtor to give a complete and unbiased account of the pool's condition. A detailed written report is made for every inspection.

UPM will:
- Remove all necessary plugs, gauges, and fittings for proper winterization.
- Blow out, plug, and antifreeze all suction and return lines.
- Drain and winterize all components of the filter system.
- Remove all ladders and railings.
- Add typical closing chemicals (chlorine and algaecide).

- Put on the winter cover with waterbags or deck pins.
- Add typical closing chemicals (chlorine and algaecide).

- Vacuum and brush the pool as needed.
- Add typical closing chemicals (chlorine and algaecide).

Homeowner must:
- Vacuum the pool prior to the service trip.
- Lower the water below the skimmer prior to the service trip.
- Cover the pool after the service trip.

responsible for ensuring that electricity and water are available in the pool area. Pool items
(gizzmos, plugs, etc.) should be left out for the closing.

POST-CLOSING SERVICES
Services to make Opening easier in the spring.
UPM now
offers a late fall Leaf Removal Service. After all the leaves have fallen
off of the trees we can come and clean your pool cover. Removing the leaves
from the cover is easier in the fall than in the spring. So, let us remove
all the leaves from your cover before it becomes covered with snow and ice.
You will have less of a mess to deal with in the spring, which will save
you time and money.
