CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR SERVICES

All commercial swimming pools and spas in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are required to have a Certified Pool Operator (C.P.O.) serve as a supervisor while in operation. The C.P.O. is responsible for making weekly trips to monitor the safety and water chemistry of the pool and/or spa, as well as be available in the event of a problem. Underwater Pool Masters has created a service to assist commercial pool owners with this requirement. UPM has six C.P.O.'s on staff and is listed with the City of Worcester Health Department (as well as surrounding communities) to serve in this capacity.

C.P.O. Maintenances - UPM has a variety of maintenance programs which fulfill state guidelines. We offer everything from basic C.P.O. maintenances to full maintenances which include cleaning, vacuuming, and water balance. UPM operates year-round so we can handle indoor swimming pools and spas in addition to seasonal ones. We focus on safety to protect the users of your pool and spa, as well as limit your liability. C.P.O. Vacation Maintenances - Even if you already have your own C.P.O., UPM can fill in during vacations or times of illness. Do not allow the hard work of your supervisor go bad while he/she is away. Let UPM take care of things so that your pool or spa remains up and running smoothly.

C.P.O. Certification Courses - For those commercial facilities that wish to have their own employees trained as C.P.O.'s we offer C.P.O. Certification Courses at different points throughout the season. Unlike many C.P.O. Instructors we are a local source for this training. REQUIRED STATE CODE REPAIRS

We have extensive experience in helping commercial pools and spas meet state code. We have economical solutions to pool and spa problems that may prevent you from passing inspection. If your pool or spa has failed inspection or if you want to make sure there are no problems prior to an inspection, give us a call. Whether you have problems resulting from water chemistry, filtration system, or safety features we have the knowledge and means to solve them.

POOL AND SPA REPAIRS

If your filter system has failed to pass inspection or has simply become inefficient and hard to operate we can upgrade your pool or spa to a new filter, pump, or plumbing. We install pumps, filters, valves, and chlorinators/brominators which clean and sanitize the water efficiently and provide ease of operation for your staff. RENOVATION PROJECTS

UPM has performed major renovations at every type of commercial pool and spa from condominiums to country clubs, hotels, health clubs, and apartment buildings. We have the means to refurbish the interior of your pool or spa through acid/pressure washing, painting, recementing, and fiberglassing. We are also capable of repairing underground pipes (because of inefficient flow or leaks), skimmers, tiles, and any other pool or spa feature.

SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS

As a commercial pool operator your top priority is to insure a safe, well-maintained swimming pool or spa. Ensuring that a pool or spa meets state guidelines can help protect the users of your pool and spa and limit your own liability. At UPM, our main objective is to make pools and spas as safe as they can be. This applies to all aspects of a facility from the deck to the filtration system, fencing and gates, signage, diving board, dividing lines and ropes, depth numbers, suction grates, rescue equipment, first aid kit, and water chemistry. These quality, high-tension, mesh safety covers are designed to allow water to pass through to the pool, while keeping leaves (as well as children and animals) out during the winter. Not only do they provide for easier opening, closing, and clean-up, but they eliminate the drowning risk and liability a solid cover poses during the off-season. Loop-Locs are so strong that our service technician walks across each one he installs. We can measure your pool and give you a free estimate of what it would cost for a custom fit cover. CHEMICAL AND PRODUCT DELIVERY

It is not always easy for you or your staff to find the time to get to the pool store during the busy spring and summer months. That is why UPM offers delivery of chemicals and parts to anywhere in our service area. Over the course of a week we visit most areas of Worcester County.
